1. General Warranty Coverage

All commercial hardware supplied by Nuo Networks is backed by authorized manufacturer warranty terms (via EPCOM USA). Products must be installed and operated according to manufacturer technical specifications and environmental guidelines.

Important: We strongly recommend retaining all original retail packaging, internal boxes, and anti-static bags for at least 60 days from the purchase date to facilitate RMA processing.

2. Pre-RMA Technical Troubleshooting

Before requesting a return, contractors and integrators are required to perform basic technical verification:

Verify operating voltage and power supply polarity/amperage (especially PoE budgets).
Review installation pinouts, termination standards (T568B), and official product manuals.
Test suspect unit on a verified alternative port or workbench environment.

4. Step-by-Step RMA Procedure

Obtain RMA Authorization

Secure Packaging

Pack items in original retail boxes. Write the RMA number on the packing slip inside and on the outer shipping label. Never write directly on retail product packaging.

Ship to Authorized RMA Hub

Ship insured via UPS, FedEx, or DHL to your nearest regional repair fulfillment facility.

Bench Evaluation & Return

Our lab tests and resolves warranty units within 5 to 7 business days. Nuo Networks covers ground return freight on approved warranty claims.

6. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage is voided under the following circumstances:

Removed, defaced, or altered manufacturer serial numbers and barcodes.
Power surge or lightning damage without certified surge protection devices (SPDs).
Physical abuse, dropped units, internal burns, or moisture/liquid intrusion.
Unauthorized board-level modifications or non-official firmware modifications.
Data Loss: Customer is responsible for system backups. Nuo Networks is not liable for lost CCTV footage or configurations.

Important Restrictions on Merchandise Returns:

Cut Bulk Cable: Spools or reels of Cat6, fiber optic, or coaxial cable that have been cut, pulled, or altered are strictly non-returnable.
Software & Cloud Licenses: Digital activation keys, VMS licenses, and platform renewals are non-returnable once generated.
Commercial Return Window: Remorse or stock returns must be requested within 30 days of invoice date in factory-sealed, resalable condition. A standard 15% restocking fee applies.
Store Credit Only: Approved commercial returns are credited to the customer account for future equipment orders; cash refunds are not issued.
Carrier Shipping Damage: Inspect cartons upon UPS/FedEx arrival. If outer packaging shows severe transit damage, refuse the package or take photos and notify support@nuo-networks.com within 48 hours.
