The Corporate 1000 format is a 35-bit (existing) 48-bit (new) card format defined by the end user. For added security, HID verifies card numbers to ensure there are no duplicates. Once HID provides end users with the Corporate 1000 format code, they can choose any access control hardware and/or software platform or system integrator. Whichever system or provider you choose, the end user reserves the ability to use a single access card anywhere in the country or the world.
