- Mount the lock body on the door frame and the armature plate on the door leaf.
- Keep the door closed while drilling so the plate and lock line up.
- Leave the rubber washer slightly loose — the plate should shift a little when locked so it can self-align against the magnet.
- Handle the armature plate carefully: any surface damage reduces holding force.
- Confirm the voltage selector jumper matches your supply before powering up.
- Do not exceed 0.5A / 30V DC on the status contact.
