5816 is a weatherproof, water-resistant outdoor wireless contact designed to perform in extreme temperatures from -40F to 150F. 58160D can be used to protect gates, sheds, detached garages or any other outdoor area with an exit or entry point. The product has two unique zones. The first loop is a normally closed circuit contact that can have external devices wired directly to it. The second loop is a built-in magnetic reed switch that can be used to protect gates. It also works with Honeywell’s Total Connectä Remote Services, which can notify users via e-mail or text messages when activity is sensed in the protected area and is compatible with all Honeywell VISTA controls.
