This doorbell reads 13.56 MHz credentials only. Ordering the right card the first time avoids a return and a second trip to the site.
The most common ordering mistake with this unit is buying a generic 125 kHz proximity card (EM / HID Prox / Indala style). Those operate on a completely different radio frequency and the reader will never see them — no configuration or firmware setting can make them work.
