Smart charger characteristics:

It cuts the current as soon as it detects heating or overvoltage.

The moment you place the battery in the charger:

The LED lights up green to indicate it has detected the battery.

It immediately changes the LED to red, indicating that it is charging.

When charging is complete, the LED turns green to indicate it is ready.

If the battery circuit is open, the LED flashes red.
