What is Simulcast?
IDAS Simulcast syncs multiple sites of repeaters for a wide area repeater coverage without interruptions using only a pair of frequencies, regardless of the number of repeater sites on the network *. Each repeater site in the system is simply comprised of a network controller, GPS antenna, and repeater. No external timing reference unit, no additional modulation unit, or other equipment is required.
